    The Mind Study Center (MSC) is a physician-owned, independent organization offering evidence-based psychiatric and psychological services in the Los Angeles area. We strive for the highest standards of care, integrating evidence-based clinical approaches with practical experiences in an empathic, trusting, and collaborative environment.

    Our mission is to set a new standard in providing evidence-based, multidisciplinary, integrated care. We provide all therapy and medication services at one convenient location. While we do see adults, the majority of our patients are children and adolescents. Clinicians will work closely with psychiatrists in delivering care.     Available Jobs:

    Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D./Psy.D.) or clinician (LMFT/LCSW)

    This position offers a great opportunity to join a team of dedicated professionals including Child and Adolescents Psychiatrists providing mental healthcare to youth and their families. We are looking for a highly skilled individual who is professional, organized, detail oriented, reliable, and motivated to offer exceptional care to our clients.

    Therapist Description:

    • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to address mental health needs in children, adolescents, young adults and their families
    • Provide on-site therapy to a diverse population of children, adolescents, and adults
    • Develop and implement treatment plans
    • Maintain and update clinical records and write progress notes in a timely manner
    • Participates in effective case collaboration and monthly peer supervision.

    Requirements:

    • Licensed to practice independently. Completion of an APA-accredited doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or another Counseling/Mental Health graduate degree (LMFT, LCSW, Psy.D., Ph.D).
    • Familiar with evidenced-based psychotherapies (CBT, DBT, IPT, PMT, etc.).
    • Knowledge and experience working with children, adolescents and families.
    • Experience in treating mood and anxiety disorders.
    • Abilify to maintain confidentiality
    • Experience in/be familiar with using DSM-5 clinical diagnoses.

    Psychiatrist Position Description:

    • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to address mental health needs in children, adolescents, young adults and their families
    • Provide care to patients in the outpatient clinic
    • Provide on-site family and individual psychotherapy, parent training management, and psychiatric treatment to a diverse population of children, adolescents, and adults
    • Community involvement and public education strongly encouraged
    • Participates in effective case collaboration and monthly peer supervision

    Position Requirements:

    • Active medical licensed to practice medicine in the State of California and valid NPI and DEA certificate.
    • Board-certified/board eligible in General Psychiatry and/or Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
    • Maintain and update pertinent clinical records and write progress notes in a timely manner

    Reports to: Steve Khachi, M.D., Child, Adolescent, & Adult Psychiatrist

    Compensation: DOE, credentials, and educational level/degree
