Dr. Steven Siragusa is a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist who provides evidence-based, developmentally informed mental healthcare for children, teens, adults, and families. His clinical expertise includes ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety disorders and OCD, mood disorders, and substance use disorders. He also has specialized training in sports psychiatry and works with athletes across developmental stages.

Dr. Siragusa takes a collaborative, thoughtful approach to care, with careful medication planning and close coordination with families, therapists, and other providers. He places strong emphasis on understanding each patient’s developmental history, goals, and lived experience, believing that effective treatment is grounded in partnership, trust, and evidence-based decision-making.

Dr. Siragusa is triple board-certified in General Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicine, a rare combination that allows him to provide highly specialized care for individuals and families navigating substance use concerns alongside mental health challenges. He also holds a Certificate of Additional Training in Sports Psychiatry, supporting athletes facing performance-related stress, injury, transitions, or mental health concerns.

He completed his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Los Angeles County–University of Southern California, where he served as Chief Fellow, and his General Psychiatry Residency at Kaweah Health, serving as Academic Chief Resident. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine and his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from New York University.

Dr. Siragusa’s commitment to child development and mental health began with his early academic training in psychology and deepened through years of clinical and leadership experience. After graduating from New York University, he pursued medical training with a strong focus on whole-person, patient-centered care.

During his training at USC and Los Angeles County hospitals, Dr. Siragusa worked across a wide range of clinical settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient psychiatry, emergency services, consultation-liaison psychiatry, eating disorder programs, and developmental specialty clinics. His leadership roles reflect a dedication not only to patient care, but also to teaching, mentorship, and clinical excellence.

At Mind Study Center, Dr. Siragusa provides comprehensive, compassionate psychiatric care for children, adolescents, adults, and families. He is committed to helping patients feel understood, supported, and empowered, and to guiding them toward meaningful, lasting improvement in their mental health and overall well-being.
