Dr. Dittu specializes in comprehensive psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and young adults. Her expertise in psychological, neuropsychological, and psychoeducational testing allows her to evaluate a wide range of mental health conditions, learning disorders, and neurodevelopmental differences. Her assessments address cognitive functioning and intelligence, academic skills, attention and executive functioning, visual–spatial processing, learning and memory, auditory processing, emotional and behavioral functioning, personality, and adaptive skills.
Dr. Dittu is committed to providing clear, meaningful evaluations that help families understand a child’s strengths, challenges, and learning profile. She believes that thoughtful assessment can guide appropriate interventions and empower families with knowledge, direction, and hope.
Dr. Dittu’s passion for working with children and families began early. After high school, she joined AmeriCorps City Year, supporting elementary students in under-resourced urban schools. During college, she spent her summers at Ramapo for Children, a residential camp serving children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental and behavioral needs.
These formative experiences led her to pursue graduate training in mental health. She earned her MSW from UCLA and spent nearly a decade providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families across private practice and community settings. Drawn to the clarity and depth that psychological assessment can offer, she returned for her doctorate in clinical psychology and completed a specialized postdoctoral fellowship focused on comprehensive evaluations for youth.
Grounded in both clinical warmth and technical precision, Dr. Dittu integrates her background as a therapist with her advanced assessment training. Her goal is to help each child gain insight into their strengths, understand their challenges, and receive the tools and recommendations needed to thrive at home, at school, and in their broader world.
