Dr. Brianna Marecki is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in evidence-based psychotherapy and psychological assessments for children, adolescents, emerging adults, and families. She is passionate about fostering collaborative, safe, and affirming relationships with her clients to help them achieve their treatment goals and thrive throughout the lifespan. Dr. Marecki is committed to providing care that is neurodivergent affirming, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and informed by principles of social justice. Her work is rooted in a strengths-based and holistic approach to treatment and assessment.

About Brianna Marecki, Ph.D.

Dr. Marecki is passionate about delivering specialized care tailored to the unique needs of each individual and family. She integrates a range of therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic, relational, cognitive-behavioral, and client-centered approaches, to best meet her clients’ goals. While grounded in psychodynamic theory, she also incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Mindfulness, DIR/Floortime, and Time-Limited Dynamic Psychotherapy (TLDP) into her practice.

Dr. Marecki views treatment from a holistic perspective, engaging clients, families, and their communities in creative and thoughtful ways to promote healing and growth. She is a strong advocate for her clients, encouraging self-advocacy and fostering resilience in every setting.

In addition to therapy, Dr. Marecki provides neuropsychological and psychodiagnostic assessments using a therapeutic assessment model, which emphasizes collaboration and incorporates the questions and goals of clients, parents, and other providers. She believes assessments should be empowering, informative, and actionable for all involved.
Dr. Marecki specializes in treating:

  • Anxiety and mood disorders in children, adolescents, and young adults.
  • Comorbid symptoms related to Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD.
  • PTSD and trauma-related conditions.
  • Issues related to spirituality, religion, and identity formation.

 

She also offers parent training to address behavioral challenges and enhance parent-child relationships.

Dr. Marecki’s academic journey began at Palm Beach Atlantic University in Florida, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology while participating in the Supper Honors Program. She earned her Master’s and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology in Pasadena, CA. She completed her predoctoral internship at the Child and Family Guidance Center in Northridge, CA, and a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
